Feeding Edgar are four mates from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, They like playing music, and they like people who like playing music. They also like people who don‟t like playing music, who just like listening to music. They don‟t know anyone who doesn’t like listening to music.
In 2011, following in the footsteps of Operator Please and Amy Meredith, Feeding Edgar hit the road for the 3rd leg of the 2011 Logitech Rock the Schools’ tour, visiting over 30 high schools and rocking out with over 6000 kids in 6 weeks, from Sydney to Rockhampton in QLD. “It was such an enriching, uplifting and rewarding experience for everyone involved”, says vocalist Nick Stenmark. “The students got so much out of it, and we really believe we were given the opportunity to help change some kids‟ lives.” The tour was an amazing launching pad for their recent single „In Her Eyes‟, produced by Craig Porteils and Ash Maklad. The song was spinning all around Australia on the major commercial radio stations, including Austero‟s Today and Triple M networks. Their video for the single, shot by DOP Casimir Dickson, also received airplay on ABC‟s RAGE. The band returned home in September, tired but thoroughly content, and got right back into the Sydney scene, packing out shows and sharing their new found mutual love with their army of amazing, dedicated fans. HOT OFF THE PRESS: Feeding Edgar have been asked back for the 2012 Rock The Schools tour, touring from Adelaide to Perth in July. How exciting. “Feeding Edgar are set to become only the second band to ever appear on consecutive Rock the Schools tours. Their energetic live shows, insanely catchy melodies, and great all rounded good-guyedness was such a big hit with the thousands of screaming high school students from the 2011 tour, we couldn‟t wait to get them back on board for 2012! With a dedication to never stop writing, the Edgar boys have just released their new album ‘Journeys’ packed to the brim with there latest rock/pop goodness.
